We left Boise on Thursday morning at 6 am and had slightly nasty weather till we got past Ely, Nv., after Ely it started warming up and by the time we got to Las Vegas it was quite warm, enough so the we had to turn the heater on when we got caught in the rush hour traffic of Lost Wages.
We stayed the night at Boulder Station (cheap) and had dinner there, very good (not cheap) at the Broiler Room.
The next morning we met up with Michael Jenkins who was driving his beautiful light blue '69 2+2 and we got back on the freeway heading to Kingman, Az. a place famous for Andy Devine.
Breakfast was great and we headed on down the road to Scottsdale arriving early in the afternoon but tired from 2 days in tiny, cramped 50 year old car!
Saturday morning we we're enjoying the camaraderie of people we have gone on other Oil Leaks with, Drew and Mary Scherz from Austin Texas, Geo and Kathleen Hahn from Tucson, az, Michael Jenkins from Carson City Nv. Mike King from Phoenix, Paul Wigton from Colorado and several others whose names escape me right now (sorry).
