We left Little America about 7:30 this morning to start the longest day of the 'ol. The drive to the North Rim of the grand canyon was wet and scenic with some folks encountering several inches of snow on the way out of the park on the way to Kanab.
The weather lifted for a few moments while Jan and I were at the canyon:

Through the journey we've managed to stay fairly dry but today something changed and our car filled up with water on the drivers side. Jan's side stayed dry but I had an inch of water in the foot well under my feet. Can't tell where it's coming from but will have to sort that out before the next tour.
Other wise the day went well and we were delighted with the views of the Grand Canyon from the North Rim.
Dinner was at the Juniper just inside the Az. border and I think that our small portion of the group had wonderful dinners
Tomorrow we'll hit the road to Zion, a short drive (and the forecast doesn't include rain for a change) with time to enjoy the park.
That's it for tonight,
Cheers,
Lynn
